2025-2026 season:

18% of students were first-time MGKB participants, with 78% planning to participate in Knowledge Bowl again next year.

91% strengthened their teamwork skills by participating in MGKB.

71% felt that participating in Knowledge Bowl strengthened their confidence.

“Bonding with my new team.”

“We got first place in our room and we’re in room E! Highest so far!”

“Winning first place at my first meet.”

“Getting an answer in under a second.”

“Knowing more things and meeting new people.”

“I love the meets because it makes me feel like I’m a part of a team.”

“Buzz fast, be confident, and remember its ok to make mistakes.”

“Stay focused, have good sportspersonship, and study!”

“Don’t overthink it and don’t go in thinking everyone is smarter than you (they’re not).”

“It’s better to have fun than to win, but both is best best.”
